work indirectly by use of Lottago.

Sometimes a simple solution becomes a game changer

I think the Lottago® is an excellent system!

It’s not often that I have assistance. When using yirro, I bend a small saliva ejector and hang it on the cheek or have the patient hold the tube. Even then I don’t fully set the yirro, if I make an estimation – I think the blowing force of the yirro is about 25% of its capacity. This allows me to see more than enough what I’m doing.

The 6mm saliva ejectors fit fine and do not come loose.

Why do people like the use of Lottago®?

“The Yirro is doing well. It takes some getting used to. Especially buccal where you are used to retract the cheek – then I don’t use it – then I use it as a regular mirror.

Yirro shouldn’t not blow too firmly for us dental hygienists. In combination with the Lottago® extractor (block) and good coordination of water (not too much) it goes well. Especially for palatal and lingual the combination with Lottago is super …”

“I prefer to use Lottago® under rubber dam, when performing endo. It keeps the 6mm saliva ejector in place and my patients are be more at ease during the longer treatments …”

swedish roots

Lotta Carlheim

Lottago® was initially designed by Lotta Carlheim, a Swedish dental nurse who simply wanted to be able to work more comfortably. She came up with the idea of a connecting a jaw support to a saliva ejector and combining this assembly with a detachable connector that is mounted to the high speed suction. Now the possibility is offered to use the high speed suction when needed, and to mount it again when not needed. Consequently, it is no longer necessary to hold this heavy high speed suction all the time and that is a big difference in comfort. It also enables the use of a dental mirror and work indirectly, in an ergonomic working posture.

The Lottago® jaw support was the result: this simple, biocompatible jaw support is designed for use by any dental hygienists and can be reused multiple times.

TWO TYPES

Check below for the two alternative ways to make use of the Lottago jaw support

Lottago connector set

The Lottago® Connector set withholds 2 connectors and 2 jaw supports. If you mount the connector to the high speed suction and then use a 6 mm saliva ejector to attach the jaw support; you will have the high speed suction right at hand while working indirectly with a mirror. You can detach it when needed but you done longer need to hold it all the time … and your patient can comfortably rest the jaw …
