Installation of the system consists of two parts: the MOUNTING and the CONNECTION.

In general there are 3 options of how to MOUNT the system on your unit. (See ‘three mounting options‘).

The CONNECTION of Yirro-plus is identical for any type of dental unit:
The system is to be connected to 3-6 bar compressed air.
The PREMIUM system is ALSO to be connected to the electricity.

AIR CONNECTION
The system is to be connected to 3-6 bar compressed air.

The below instruction only applies to the PREMIUM system. Make sure you already know where to place your docking station and check the length of the connection hose from this point (standard length of the PREMIUM connection hose is 1.80 m – a special longer version of the PREMIUM connection hose is available – 2.50 m – on demand [ARTICLE])

INSTRUCT YOUR TECHNICIAN
We recommend you to instruct your technician to connect the PREMIUM system to electricity. An independent connection is applicable:

24 VDC
The system uses 24 VDC. In the start set,  a Medical Power Adaptor is included that is to be connected directly to 100-240VAC and capable to convert this to 24VDC. You can use an empty socket – if there is no empty socket available, the included contra part with wires can be used. Instruct your technician to mount the contra part  directly onto a (suitable) terminal block in the unit (100-240 Volt) and then the Power Adaptor can be mounted in the contra part.
Then, the small plug of the Power Adaptor needs to be mounted onto the Air/Power supply box of the Yirro-plus® PREMIUM system (white box).

HOSE MOUNTING
The connection hose is to be guided outside the dental base, to the docking station. Finally, the click contacts in the connection hose and at the bottom of the PREMIUM air-regulator need to be connected.

NOTE: Before you detach the connection hose cover ring, make sure the click contacts are rigidly mounted and also check if the air hose is rigidly fixed (push firmly) on the air inlet of the air-regulator.
