Yirro-plus® fits perfectly into the 15 mm slot of the A-dec delivery, by use of the standard included docking adaptor.

EXTEND YOUR DELIVERY
No spare 15 mm slot available? Ask your A-dec technician for spare part no. 99.06.52.03, an extension part containing a 15 mm slot; the Yirro-plus® docking adaptor is adapted for this slot.

INSTALLATION ON A-DEC
A-dec provides exterior air connection points, so it is very easy to plug-in the Yirro-plus® COMFORT system by use of the included Q.D. polymale connector. For Yirro-plus® PREMIUM you may need to consult your technician, in order to have the electricity properly connected.

NOTE – A-dec units have electrical sources placed somewhat further away from the assistance unit – due to which a longer connection hose is necessary. Ask your technician to order a PREMIUM start set with special article 0781 (white Air Power/box with longer connection hose). When ordered timely in advance, your start set will contain a longer hose (2.60 m) instead of the standard length (1,8m).

ACE – two mounting options
The ACE delivery has a relatively flat side, where you can mount the Universal Docking (included in start set). Choose a position that is well in reach.

C1 docking adaptor in smallest slot
Alternatively, the smallest slot can be used (most left one) to integrate the air-regulator by use of a C1 docking adaptor. Check if your small slot has a little square slid. Ask your distributor for article 0491.

Most Airel Quetin dental units have in common:
– a base
– delivery placed on a swivel arm (tube)
– delivery with flat vertical side

1. On the base

Mounting the Yirro-plus docking on the base of Airel Quetin K2 is the most simple option. You can make use of the mounting plate / universal docking holder are included in the startset.  Make sure the air hose enters the base where the suction hoses go in. If possible, you could make use of the extra opening already present in the base. See below for impression:

2. on the tube next to the delivery

A mounting docking For Airel Quetin is not yet available. You can assist by informing us on the exact diameter of the tube at the indicated location.

Please send us a picture of your delivery unit and the diameter of the tube. The first one that informs us and intends to purchase a Yirro-plus startset will obtain a free of costs mounting docking.

Once the docking is available, you can easily mount the universal Yirro-plus docking holder to it (included in the startset).

NOTE

Make sure the air hose enters the base where the suction hoses go in. If possible, you could make use of the extra opening already present in the base. See below for impression:

ANCAR side of delivery is flat

ANCAR deliveries have (almost) flat sides. It is most practical to mount the Yirro-plus docking at the side of the delivery by use of the flat surface mounting plate (included in the startset). Make sure the air hose is neatly following other hoses into the dental unit base.

2. On the unit base

Alternatively you could decide to mount the docking holder on the base of the unit, also by making use of the mounting plate.

3. New spare slot adaptor?

Alternatively, a spare slot adapter could be used. Currently we have no dimension information available on ANCAR slot. If you prefer to integrate Yirro on a spare ANCAR slot, we invite you to create a 3D-impression (‘putty’ or 3D-scan) and send it to us. Should the dimension not match an existing adaptor docking available, then we develop the first new item free of costs.

Most Anthos delivery units have a flat vertical side on which the universal docking can be mounted, which is standard included in the start set.

The Universal Docking is included in all start sets and it is practically always possible to mount this universal docking on a vertical surface at the side of the delivery unit. Even in case of a small brim.

OCCASIONAL INTEGRATION ANTHOS
You can check on occasion, if the standard docking adaptor (included in the start set) fits into the smallest slot (if available).

Belmont deliveries have a large flat side, on which it is easy to mount the universal docking (included in the start set).

INSTALLATION ON BELMONT
Belmont provides exterior air connection points, so it is very easy to plug-in the COMFORT system. For PREMIUM you will need to consult your technician, in order to have the electricity properly connected.

BIOLASE – on the side of the MDX

The Yirro-plus docking can be mounted on the side of the Biolase MDX unit. On the back the air hose can be led into the base, and mounted to the compressor. Make sure that the air compression available for Yirro-plus is 3-6 bar. For connecting you can use the included quick couplings or T-part (ø6mm tubing connector).

TUBE MOUNTING OPTION
You can mount the Yirro-plus® system on the instrument tube of a CART by use of the TUBE docking holder. The TUBE docking holder fits over a CART tubes with a diameter of ø13 mm. Mount it on the left side if you are right-handed and on the right side if you are left-handed.
NOTE: The TUBE docking holder is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering. [Article 0291].

ORDER A LONGER SILICONE HOSE
If you mount Yirro-plus® on the instrument side, you will need a longer thin ø4 mm silicone hose for your Yirro-plus® mirror. Extra length is needed to transfer the mirror under the patients head, to the non-dominant side. Make sure to order a longer silicone hose [1.80 m – article 0279] along with your start set! Silicone hoses can be ordered separately as a spare part. Regular silicone hose [1.30 m length] have article number 0278.

INSTALLATION ON A CART
Most CARTS have accessible exterior air connection points, so it is very easy to plug-in the COMFORT system. Pay attention however: the Yirro-plus® system will need 3-6 bar (45-90 PSI) air compression and not all CARTS offer this. For PREMIUM you may need to consult your technician, in order to have the electricity properly connected.

Castellini – flat side of delivery

The side of Castellini delivery is flat and the universal docking holder and mounting plate can be placed there. Guide the air hose along with the other hoses for a neat result. Impression:

Chirana dental chair delivery units have a flat side, where you can mount the Yirro-plus docking onto. You make use of the included mounting plate (in startset).Make sure the air hose goes neatly along the other hoses.

Dental International Slot adaptor (prototype)

For Dental International a first prototype for a slot adaptor has been developed and it can be ordered.

NOTE
Make sure to verify if the DI unit can provide the required 3-6 bar compressed air. If this is not the case, you should consider that the available air flow may be insufficient and also that use of Yirro-plus may affect functionality of your other instruments.

DKL delivery units

DKL delivery units show a flat vertical side, where the Universal docking holder can be mounted (by use of the mounting plate – included in the startset). Below an impression is provided for this mounting location.

New spare slot adaptor applicable?

Alternatively, a spare slot adapter could be used. Currently there is no information available for DKL slot-docking adaptor. If you prefer to integrate Yirro on a spare DKL slot, we invite you to create a 3D-impression (‘putty’ or 3D-scan) and send it to us. Should the dimension not match an existing adaptor docking available, then we develop the first new item free of costs.

ON THE SWIVEL ARM, NEAR THE SUCTION
Epilux has a swivel/bracket arm with a ø22 mm tube holding the delivery unit. It is most practical to mount the Yirro-plus® system by use of the TUBE docking holder.

The TUBE docking holder is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering [article 0291].

On the swivel – side

Alternatively, some dentists tend to place the docking holder on the vertical flat side of the swivel-instrument panel itself. If you prefer this, you should make sure that the docking is placed in a forward angled position, in order to avoid ‘patient-contact’ (women’s breast) of the system during your treatments.

IN FREE SLOT OF FEDESA
For NEW ALFA IDEM (also FEDESA) – see separate tabs below ‘New Alfa Idem’.

At the side of the delivery

Some FEDESA units have a flat side surface (see indicated arrow), where you can mount the Universal docking by use of the mounting plate, which are standard included in the start set.

Other types are rounded at all sides, which somewhat hinders the possibility to mount a Universal Docking sideways.

Use the Desktop docking to fixate on curved side

An option to dock your Yirro-plus system by use of a Desk-top Docking holder as shown below. The Desk-top docking is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering [article 0584].

Slot integration

The standard docking adaptor does fit into the outer left and right located slots of Fedesa. However, you will need a Docking Fixation Clip (article 0532) to fixate the docking. Impression of the Docking Fixation Clip:

Currently there is no complete information available for other Fedesa slots.

If you prefer to integrate Yirro on a spare FEDESA slot and the standard adaptor docking does not fit into the slot, we invite you to create a 3D-impression (‘putty’ or 3D-scan) and send it to us. Please also send a picture of the dental delivery along. Should the dimension not match any of our existing adaptor dockings available, then we will develop the first new item free of costs.

FINNDENT DELIVERY MOUNTING OPTIONS
Some Finndent delivery units provide the option for side mounting. You can mount the universal docking by use of the included mounting plate (in the startset). See below for an impression.

Yirro-plus® FLEX coupling
The manufacturer of the Finndent units is the first ever manufacturer of dental units to support the integration of Yirro-plus in the (swivel) instrument panel. This means that you can use the Yirro-plus mirror together with an instrument.

If you are interested in having Yirro-plus completely integrated in your instrument set, ask your Finndent dealer for the Yirro-plus® FLEX coupling. This is a special version of the Yirro-plus® magnet coupling that is developed to be built in the Finndent instrument unit. See below for an impression.

Forest Dental Simplified delivery – ø13 mm tube

The tube of the Simplified delivery by Forest Dental is similar to that of a Cart (ø13 mm). For this type of delivery, you can make use of the universal docking (included in the startset) and in addition the separate available TUBE-docking holder (ø13 mm / ø22mm). (Article 0291).

Slot integration

Another option could be slot-integration. Sofar, no data is known by us on the geometry of the Forest Dental Slot. If you prefer to use a spare slot, you can make a 3D-scan of the geometry (or a ‘putty’) and send it to us, along with a picture of your delivery unit. In case the geometry does not match our available dockings, we will create a new docking and the first item will be free of costs.

INTEGRATION INTO A FREE SLOT
By use of the C1 docking adaptor, it is possible to integrate the Yirro-plus® system into the smallest free slot.

The C1 docking adaptor is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering [article 0491].

HEKA-UNIC / HEKA-UNICLINE-S
Yirro-plus® can be integrated in the delivery of HEKA-UNIC and of HEKA-UNICLINE-S, by use of the dedicated HEKA-UNIC-S docking adaptor. This docking adaptor is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering [article 0323].

HEKA-UNICLINE
For the HEKA-UNICLINE units, you can make use of the dedicated HEKA-UNICLINE docking adaptor. In case that all three slots are occupied, you can create a fourth slot by mounting a HEKA-UNICLINE-SIDE adaptor. These docking adaptors are not standard included in the start set and need special ordering [article 0405 – HEKA UNICLINE docking adaptor; article 0499 – HEKA UNICLINE SIDE docking adaptor].

CONNECTION
HEKA offers very easy connection for electricity, on the back side of the unit there are free sockets available where the Yirro-plus® power adaptor can be plugged in. The connection hose can be guided to the delivery by (creating) a small hole in the unit base, down below.

TWO OPTIONS for KaVo
For KaVo, two options are available:

Standard option – mount docking to the side
Side mounting by use of the Universal docking holder is the standard option. The Universal docking holder is standard included in each start set. This is what it looks like:

Integration in a spare slot
For the new KaVo delivery unit, a special Slot Docking was created. If this slot is empty, you could use this Slot Docking to integrate. [Article 1366]
An example of this Yirro-plus Kavo SLOT adapter is presented in below picture:

MIDMARK INTEGRATION
For Midmark, the dedicated C2 docking adaptor is available to integrate the system into a free slot.

The Midmark adaptor [article 0517] is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering.

Mount to the vertical flat side

Alternatively, the universal docking – together with the mounting plate –  can be positioned sideways or on the flat back side of the delivery. Both the universal docking and the mounting plate are included in the startset.

MORITA SIDE MOUNTING
Most Morita delivery units have flat vertical sides that enable mounting of the Universal Docking, included in the start set. Below you find a few examples.

Morita G20 – extension mobile docking at the side

For Morita G20, the Mobile docking Extension holder is applicable. This holder can fill the overhang (brim) upto 16 mm, so you can place it under the tray and the docking will still allow the handle to be placed into the docking. You can purchase the Mobile Extension Docking 16 mm separately. An impression is given below.

The Mobile Extension Docking holder 16 mm can be purchased separately (article 0573).

Morita Z300 – use the Desktop Docking holder

For Morita Z300, the use of Desktop Docking holder may apply best. This docking is not included in the startset and must be ordered separately (article 0582). See below image for an impression of the docking holder and the situation for Z300.

INTEGRATION INTO NEW IDEM (ALFA)
The standard docking adaptor (included in start set) fits into the outer slots of New Idem (Alfa). [Pay attention, underneath is a bit too much space and this causes the docking to waggle. This can be solve by use of a docking fixation ring [article 0532]. The docking fixation ring is not standard included in start sets.

OMS MOUNTING
As shown below, most delivery units of OMS have a flat vertical side and it is possible to mount the Universal Docking (standard included) onto the side.

INTEGRATED IN SMALLEST SLOT
Alternatively, sometimes you can use the C1 docking adaptor for integration into a spare slot. Look for the smallest slot and see if the square slid is present. The C1 docking adapter then will fit into the slot.

Pelton & Crane  – sideways of the delivery unit

The regular delivery unit of Pelton & Crane provides you a flat surface on which you can mount the universal docking holder of the Yirro-plus system. Everything you need is included in the startset. See below for an impression of the situation.

Pelton & Crane – Rear delivery units

When you have a rear delivery from Pelton & Crane, you can choose:
Either you apply the Universal docking sideways on the flat side of the delivery (see below):

Alternatively you can make use of a separately available option: the Desktop Docking holder. By use of this docking you can mount the Yirro-plus system on a horizontal surface; i.e. on the rear table top.

Article 0584 – Yirro-plus DeskTop Docking holder

PELTON & CRANE – rounded delivery units
Some Pelton & Crane delivery units tend to be rounded at all sides. By use of the Desk-top docking holder, you can however mount the Yirro-plus system. You can put some filling material in the corner to fill the gap (more hygienic).
An impression is given below (pink arrow).

NOTE:

Currently we have no data on the Pelton & Crane slot geometry. If you prefer to place the Yirro-plus system in a spare slot, then you could send us the 3D-data (scan or ‘putty’) together with an image of your delivery unit. If the 3D-data does not match one of the geometries of our docking holders, then we will create a new one. The first client who assists us creating the new slot adapter will receive the new adapter free of costs.

PLANMECA INTEGRATION
For integration into the most recent Planmeca Compact, the Planmeca SIDE docking holder is available. Simply plug it into the two holes on the side of the delivery and you can easily clip on the Yirro-plus® Universal Docking.

The Planmeca SIDE docking is not standard included in the start set and needs special ordering [article 0464].

SLOT INTEGRATION
It is also possible to place the docking in the spare slot (if available) by use of the Planmeca-1 Docking [article 0758].

The Planmeca-1 docking also fits on the slots of the Planmeca I-touch.
If all three slots are occupied, you can also use a TUBE docking to mount the system on the base tube of the delivery.

ALTERNATIVE MOUNTING PLANMECA
As an alternative, there are users that place the docking station on the instrument set:

SIRONA MOUNTING OPTIONS
Sirona far out shows the most differences in delivery units. But in all cases, there is a possibility to integrate or mount Yirro-plus onto the delivery. A summary:

SIRONA INTEGO
For the Sirona Intego delivery, a dedicated Sirona INTEGO docking adaptor is available [article 0720, not included in start set.]

SIRONA SINIUS
For Sirona Sinius delivery units, two options are available:
1) Use the Sirona C245+ docking adaptor to integrate in a free slot, see below picture. The Sirona C245+ docking adaptor is not standard included in the start set but needs separate ordering [article 0473]

2) Side mounting by use of Universal docking
Alternatively, you can mount the Universal docking (standard included) at the flat side of the Sinius delivery unit. See picture below:

SIRONA TENEO/SIRONA C3+
A good solution for Sirona TENEO and Sirona C3+ is to make use of the Mobile EXTENSION docking holder; this docking holder overcomes the long brim/overhang at the delivery’s side and thus enables vertical side docking. The Universal docking (standard included) can be clipped onto the Mobile Extension docking holder. See picture below for an impression:

The Mobile Docking EXTENSION is not standard included and needs separate ordering [article 0330].

SIRONA C4+/C5+
For Sirona C4+ and C5+, the SIRONA C245+ adaptor can be used in the small slot, see below picture.

SIRONA C2+
For the SIRONA C2+, two options are possible:
1) Use of the standard included adaptor docking in the smallest slot (when available). See below image:

2) Use of the Sirona C245+ adaptor in the second smallest slot (if available). The Sirona C245+ docking adaptor is not standard included and needs special ordering [article 0473].

SIRONA C8+
The Sirona C8+ has a flat side brim that is high enough to mount the Universal docking [standard included] onto. See picture below.

The italian Smart & Simple units have a delivery with a small slot. The standard docking adaptor (standard included in start set) fits into this slot. See image below:

STERN WEBBER – SIDE MOUNTING
Stern Webber delivery units in most cases have a flat side on which the standard included Universal docking can be mounted. The Universal docking is standard included in the start set. See images below for an impression.

NOTE

Sofar, no 3D-geometry data on Stern Webber slot is known by us. In case you wish to integrate into a spare slot, you can send us the geometry (3D-scan or ‘putty’) together with an image of the delivery. If none of the available docking geometry fits into the slot, we will create a new slot adaptor. The first client that sends us the (suitable) geometry will obtain a free of cost new slot adaptor.

STOMADENT MOUNTING
Most Stomadent delivery units have a flat side on which you can easily mount the Universal Docking holder (standard included in start set).

Slot integration

Currently, no 3D-geometry on Stomadent slots is available at DHM-dental. In case you prefer integration into a spare slot, we invite you to send us 3D-geometry (3D-scan or ‘putty’) of the spare slot – together with an image where you indicate which slot it is. In case none of our available docking geometries fits into the slot, we will create a new docking adaptor. The first client to provide us with the 3D-data and will purchase a new startset will obtain this adaptor docking free of costs.

TRIDEC MOUNTING OPTIONS

The Tridec units use Cattani suction systems. Below, for 2 types of TRIDEC deliveries, an option is given:

CS90 spittoons

For these spittoons, it is possible to mount the standard included Universal docking at the flat side. See image below:

DSM spittoons

DSM spittoons have all rounded sides and the only docking holder that can be used is the Desk-top docking holder [1]. Alternatively, the use of the TUBE docking holder can be an option on the tube [2]. See below for an impression of these positions:

NOTE on slot integration

Currently, no 3D-geometry data on DSM (Tridec) slots is known by DHM-dental. In case you prefer integration into a spare slot, we kindly invite you to send us the 3D-geometry (3D-scan or ‘putty’) of the slot, together with an image where you indicate which slot it concerns.
We will check if our available docking geometry fits into the slot. If not, then we will create a new adaptor for the DSM/Tridec unit. The first client to send us the (suitable) 3D-data and purchases a new startset Yirro-plus will obtain the new adaptor free of costs.

Q-DENT MOUNTING – two options

Sideways on the DURR block

The Q-Dent unit makes use of the DURR block and this enables both side mounting and integration. For the side mounting, simply mount the standard included Universal Docking onto the side of the delivery.

For slot integration, you can make use of the standard docking adaptor, which is included in the start set. An impression of the integrated option is given below:

VITALY dental unit

Below is an impression of a Vitaly delivery unit. It is possible to mount the Universal Docking (included in start set) at the side. See below impression:

Alternatively, if the small slot on the right is available, you could integrate in this slot by use of the C1 docking. Check for the presence of the square slid in the slot.

XO MOUNTING

The best option for XO to mount the Yirro-plus system is on the flat front of the delivery unit. Depending on the type of XO-unit, you can make use of the XO-1 docking holder or XO-2 docking holder. See below for an impression of these docking holders. The more recent XO-units offer enough space to directly mount the Universal docking on it.

This docking holder was developed for the elder type of XO-units.

On the base

As an alternative for above shown options, some users prefer to mount the Universal docking simply on the base of the chair. For this option, you do not need a special adaptor, the universal docking is included in the startset.Just make sure the docking is within reach both for dentist and assistant.

Yoshida delivery units

Yoshida Season units have the delivery shown below.

For Yoshida Season delivery the best option is to make use of the Desk-Top docking holder to mount the Yirro-plus® system . See below for an impression:

Slot integration Yoshida

Currently, no 3D-data on geometry of Yoshida slots is available at DHM-dental. If you prefer the system to be integrated in a slot, we kindly invite you to contact your local distributor (Pentron Japan) and send them a 3D-geometry of the slot and request for forwarding to us. We will check if the slot geometry matches one of our available dockings. If not, we will create 1 slot adaptor for free – only applicable for the first customer that sends us the (suitable) data.
