Below you find FAQ’s on the ergoTOS mobile dental patient chair. In case you have any further questions, just contact us.
This chair is easy to fold and unfold, however you will need to practice the movements a few times. Then you will find out that only one way of (un)folding is possible. This is indicated by stickers at the side of the chair (at the pull-buttons).

You can disinfect/clean the upholstery and all parts by use of a regular cleaning/disinfection detergent. The upholstery is similar to that of a normal dental chair and is resistant to the use of alcohol as a disinfectant.
However, we recommend you to use a less aggressive detergent, in order to prolong the upholstery lifespan.
Chair weight is 13,5 kg. This includes the transport bag.
The ergoTOS mobile patient chair has been subject to a mechanical validation test for its strength. You can safely treat patients with a body weight upto 125 kg.
Situations vary per patient and per dentist.
The ergoTOS mobile patient chair has been developed to be operated on an average working height with an almost horizontally positioned patient at a working area about 96 cm above the floor. This is most comfortable for a dentist of average length, when working seated, on a stool.
For a relatively tall dentist, most ergonomic working situation will be to have all patients positioned a bit more upright and work on a height adjustable stool. In case a patient prefers to be seated more upright, the stool can be adjusted to the correct height.
For short dentist, most ergonomic working situation will be to have patients positioned as horizontally flat as possible and work on a height adjustable stool. In case patient prefer to be seated more upright, the shorter dentist may prefer to do standing procedures.
Yes, in the region of the Netherlands it is possible to purchase a maintenance contract for aftersales support.
Besides that, there is a limited warranty on functional components (gas spring, frame, upholstery). In case a deficiency occurs, we ask you to return the product, we will investigate the problem and in case of warranty we will repair it free of costs. If warranty period is due, a charge for the repair is applicable.
